Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: Feb 23, 2026
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to services provided by Crux Services (“we,” “our,” or “us”) in Lacombe, Alberta and surrounding areas.
By booking our services, you agree to this policy.
1. Nature of Services
Crux Services provides on-site junk removal and hauling services. Once materials are removed and loaded into our vehicle, they may be processed, recycled, donated, or disposed of immediately.
Due to the nature of our services, removed items cannot be returned.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds are limited and will only be considered under the following circumstances:

A billing error occurred; or
-
The service was not performed as agreed.
Refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of service completion.
We reserve the right to inspect and verify all claims.
3. No Refund Situations
Refunds will not be issued for:

Change of mind after service completion

Items mistakenly included in junk unless clearly separated and identified prior to removal

Volume-based pricing disagreements after job completion

Pre-existing property damage
-
Customer absence at scheduled appointment

Refusal of service due to undisclosed hazardous or prohibited materials
4. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment: No fee.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before appointment: May be subject to a cancellation fee.

If our crew arrives and access is unavailable, a trip fee may apply.
5. Deposits
If a deposit is required:

Deposits are refundable only if cancellation occurs at least 24 hours prior to service.

Deposits may be forfeited for late cancellations or no-shows.
6. Chargebacks
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting Crux Services to resolve a dispute constitutes a breach of our Terms of Service.
We reserve the right to provide documentation, service records, photographs, and signed agreements to dispute chargebacks.
Customers remain responsible for legitimate service charges.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Crux Services’ maximum liability for any refund or claim shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific service in question.
